June 2012
Our love story began at Outeniqua High School in 2012, when we found ourselves writing exams next to each other and sharing a quick conversation.
Soon after, we started chatting more on Mxit (yes, we’re that old 😄) and slowly got to know each other. Who knew a few Mxit messages would eventually lead us all the way here?
And so, our story began…
2013/2014
In 2013 Dewald matriculated, in 2014 he joins the Junior Bulls and Inge Matriculates, preparing to study in Cape Town.
2015
In 2015 Inge started at Cape Town Hotel School, while Dewald was still in Pretoria. With the distance we only saw each other every 3–6 months, we decided to take a break from our relationship.
2016
Dewald joined the Blitzboks, relocating to Stellenbosch. After a few dates and many conversations, we realised our hearts had found their way back to each other. Our relationship was rekindled, and this time, it felt like we were right where we belonged.
2020
When COVID hit, we were apart for a few months and quickly realised we never wanted to be apart again. So, we moved in together and that same year, got our two doggies.
2026
Fast forward to 2026… after 14 years of dating, Dewald finally popped the big question! 💍 And just like that, our next chapter begins — the start of our forever story. ❤️

Arrival
Please arrive at 15h30 to settle in and find your seat before the celebrations begin - The ceremony will start at 16h00
Parking
Plenty of secure free parking is available at the venue.
If you plan on enjoying a few drinks with us, please consider booking an Uber or arranging alternative transport so you can celebrate safely and enjoy the evening without having to drive. 🥂
Children
We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration.

Weather
December in Durbanville is high summer — expect warm days, plenty of sunshine and temperatures that can reach the high 20s. But, as with any Cape Town summer, the weather can be a little unpredictable, so come prepared for whatever the day may bring - a light layer for later is recommended.
